Development Leader for Operational Support

The position is located within the Integration and Labor Market Administration, one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. We strengthen the opportunities for residents of Linköping who depend on financial assistance to become self-sufficient and independent. We also contribute to skills supply for Linköping Municipality and the business community.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a development leader for Operational Support as a substitute when one of our colleagues goes on parental leave. You will be part of the administration's work against incorrect payments of financial assistance and welfare crime. The work involves both overall operational development and providing support to staff in case management. Part of your role will be aimed at developing and implementing routines in the labor market section of the administration, with the aim of preventing labor market crime and incorrect payments. You will also collaborate with other actors, both internally (for example, with social workers/case handlers and managers) and externally (for example, with landlords, other administrations in Linköping Municipality, and other authorities such as the Police, the Tax Agency, and the Social Insurance Agency). As a development leader, you will also contribute to method development and professional development as well as monitoring the external environment in relation to areas of responsibility and development and investigation assignments. All to create conditions for trust in the welfare system.

Your Workplace

The mission of the Integration and Labor Market Administration is to strengthen the opportunities for residents of Linköping who need financial assistance to become self-sufficient and independent, as well as to contribute to skills supply for the business community and Linköping Municipality. In the administration, we work closely with residents, businesses, the non-profit sector, authorities, and other public actors.

The position is located within the operational support staff function, and your workgroup currently consists of four development leaders and one recovery investigator, who through preventive work contribute to strengthening the authority's exercise and reducing incorrect payments.

Your workplace will be in new activity-based premises at Drottninggatan 45 in central Linköping. Working hours are 08:00-17:00 with flexible working hours. We also offer the possibility of remote work.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with a degree in social or behavioral sciences or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working with financial assistance and preferably with incorrect payments. It is an advantage if you have experience leading processes, development and change work, and operational analysis.

Since the work involves social contacts, collaboration with various authorities, and documentation work, we require that you have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and have experience with documentation. We would also like you to have knowledge of the welfare system and its design.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are self-driven and have the ability to take responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you structure and prioritize your work and can see the big picture and the best interests of the operation. You have the ability to analyze and compile information and collaborate well with others, you have good documentation skills and adapt your communication based on the situation and the recipient.
